Revolutionary hat with a red "five-star"

This type of hat was the most common during the Cultural Revolution and was worn with the typical red “five-star.” See a poster with an image of Mao wearing the same type of hat here.

The children’s badges read 红卫兵 “Red Guard” and the image on the floor reads, 我爱北京天安门 “I love Beijing Tiananmen.” The poem of the same name in the top righthand corner is below.
