The name comes from a poem by Mao Zedong called “Three Short Poems” 1934 – 1935. 山 Mountains! 快马加鞭未下鞍。I whip my swift horse, glued to my saddle. 惊回首,I turn my head startled, 离天三尺三。The sky is three foot three above me!
The children’s badges read 红卫兵 “Red Guard” and the image on the floor reads, 我爱北京天安门 “I love Beijing Tiananmen.” The poem of the same name in the top righthand corner is below.

Born in Yixing 宜兴,Jiangsu 江苏 province. His works have been exhibited globally.
A “Little Red Book” style of Mao’s poetry works. Mao was an avid poet and calligrapher, his poetry was highly prized and shared.
